Hi, we’re Matt and Rachel, founders of Unbroke.
After buying property in our early twenties, we didn’t feel that the process matched the needs of the new generation getting into the property market.
We decided we wanted to help change the way young Aussies feel about their potential to buy property and take steps towards financial freedom, so we started Unbroke to do just that.
Our Experience
Rach started out her career in eCommerce and Fintech, with roles at eBay, FinTech Australia and leading marketing and strategy for Superhero, an investment and superannuation startup listed as one of LinkedIn’s Top Startups for 2022. Rachel is passionate about empowering women with their financial journey.

Matt is a Chartered Accountant with over a decade of experience operating at the intersection of finance, capital and growth across banking, insurance and high-growth technology businesses.
As former Head of Finance at Ordermentum, and previously Superhero, he worked alongside founders and leadership teams on complex financial decisions — from capital strategy through to scaling operations.
He brings that same level of commercial thinking to his clients, approaching lending as a strategic decision rather than a transactional one.
Having built his own property portfolio from his early 20s, Matt understands both the opportunity and the friction that comes with navigating the Sydney market. His focus is on simplifying complexity and structuring lending in a way that aligns with long-term wealth creation.
Today, he works with ambitious professionals and business owners to structure lending intelligently, with a long-term view.
